2008 started with a much overdue redesign

My last website was first designed in 2001. Luckily, it wasn't too bad and managed to retain some of its decent looks well into 2007. In this latest reincarnation, I hope to write more articles, and share sample code and experiments.

lilleashop.com redesign

Fall 2007

Lille, formerly in Chicago's Bucktown neighborhood, is now 100% online. A new logo and color scheme refresh the website. The original layout was retained for it's simplicity and ease of use. Enhancements include the ability to browse by designer and better search engine optimization. Visit lilleashop.com »

My favorites

I've always been a fan of the items sold at lilleashop.com. Here are some of my favorites:

  • Jewelry by Melissa Joy Manny. She has gorgeous earrings with a fine finish.
  • Placemats from Chilewich. I'll never grow tired of these or the many other products made with the versatile woven vinyl.
  • Glassware from Juliska. So elegant, the various glass designs make great gifts.
